Quote
"If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” - George Bernard Shaw

How Effective is the Poem’s Title?
I believe the poem's title sucks. I personally think there is no idea or meaning behind this title. Unless you read the poem, there is absolutely no way for you to understand or even have a clue what the author might say. Hounded by the world can have many different meanings, like I said in the previous entry, stuff like global warming can be part of the hounding process. It seems like the author try to convey a more of a mental process than a worldly view. Somehow, she try to say that beauty can only be achieved selectively, and material possessions are not beautiful. Expressing her thought is just fine, but her title is meaningless and fail to serve its purpose of hinting the reader what might the poem be about.
