Quote
"If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” - George Bernard Shaw

Puritans and Possessions
Sigh*...Puritans believe that all are created by God and all are destroyed by God. All misfortune or unexplainable phenomenon are God's decision, mostly uncomprehensible by men. Bradstreet believed that she should not dwell over material possesions as all comes from dust and will return to dust. Puritans seem to value life only as intermediate process to salvation. In her poem, she deem the spot in heaven for her built by the Great Architect is what really matters and show no feelings toward her burnt house.
